I hope you all have had a great November thus far and are ready to eat some Turkey this week! Before you go into holiday mode, here's a little recap of our the last two months in ZeroZero!
Back in October we partnered with George Ward Tennis Center to teach the kiddos all about the game of tennis and work on basics and fundamentals. We were spread out over four different courts and the kids worked serving, returning, footwork, and even got to play some pickle-ball! They had a blast and George Ward did an amazing job demonstrating and encouraging each child. Who knows, they might have even birthed some new tennis enthusiasts, which is just one of the reasons why ZeroZero exists, to open our children’s minds to all the possibilities their passions and talents can bring upon their path.
This past Saturday we hosted another Rally Golf Clinic in partnership with TopGolf! We were ecstatic with the turn out from this past weekend, as golf remains one of our most popular events! We had volunteers from the PGA Tour and Miles College Golf Team give up their Saturday morning to teach our little ones knowledge, fundamentals, and techniques in the game of golf. The kids were able to play various TopGolf game modes and record their best stats on their personal play card that they were able to take home with them. We spent two amazing hours full of swinging, eating and fellowships.
Coming up next is our December P.A.T. session that will take place Friday, December 16 at Legacy Arena! If you or anyone you know may be interested in volunteering, we could really use your help to make this night very special for all of our families. You can reach out to me to get involved!
Well that’s all I have for you guys this month. I hope everyone has a happy holiday and stays safe!
We want to give a big welcome to our newest Program Coordinator, Emondre Johnson! Read below to learn a little about him and why he’s excited to join the team!
I hope the first two and half months of 2023 have been treating you all well! This year has already been a big one for the foundation and we’re working hard to keep the momentum going.
